This page is provided as a means of communicating with the artistic community of Nashville and beyond. I am particularly interested in corresponding with musicians, singers and dancers who are interested in performing with our group, bands who would like to open for us, and artists who wish to exhibit in the places where we perform. SERENATTA: BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH MUSIC

Our mission is:

1. To play and preserve songs and dances of Latin American countries.
2. To educate about Latin American music and culture.
3. To foster peace and good feeling among listeners to this music.
4. To give people chances to dance a variety of Latin music in informal settings.
5. To encourage the moral and financial support of community-based musical groups.
6. Through a balance of paid and outreach events, to increase exposure to Latin American music among both individuals and nonprofit groups such as senior citizens and community centers.
7. To delight in the music.
